Join HASBAT on Thursday, October 8, 2026, for our October Membership Meeting & Breakfast featuring Michael “Mike” Vallante, Region 4 Advocate for the U.S. Small Business Administration’s Office of Advocacy, as our keynote speaker.
As Region 4 Advocate, Vallante serves small businesses throughout Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee. In this role, he engages with small businesses, trade associations and community organizations throughout the Southeast to better understand the experiences and perspectives of the region’s small-business community.
Vallante brings more than 30 years of experience in business management, strategic communications and public affairs consulting, along with previous leadership experience within the SBA. A small-business owner himself, he previously served as SBA Regional Administrator for Region 9 and as Associate Administrator of the SBA Office of Field Operations.

Registration and networking begin at 7:30 a.m., followed by the membership meeting from 8:00–9:00 a.m. A buffet-style hot breakfast is included with each registration.
